A few places I get to during my work.

You may think, I wish I had a job that took me all over the world.

Well, if you want to spend serious quality time away from home by all means give it a go.

All I can say is, travel definitely is a mind broadening activity.

I'm now retired, no more commuting around the world, now I can start enjoying life again..

Oh! BTW if you are travelling in Poland, be prepared to get ripped off on the National Railways, especially if you jump on an IC train, without a previously purchased ticket, they recently tried to charge me 50 Zloty, to travel 2nd class between Pszczyna and Czechowice-Dziedzice a distance of about 11km, maybe because I was stupidly waving a 50 Zloty note at the train guard, I produced a ticket I'd bought the previous day for the same journey of the price was 9 Zloty, so he reduced the fare to 25 Zloty, and I didn't even get given a ticket. So I guess that went straight into his pocket, shame on you.

After taking holidays to Corsica for several years in a row, and going to stay in the same holiday resort, I finally decided to stop going, why? despite the same owners of the hotel checking us in each year, they never once said they were happy to see us return, and sometimes we were visiting twice a year, and they like to make out that they are not French, Q.E.D.

What wonderful people dwell in this beautiful large town, I feel 100% perfectly safe here, OK so it may not have a beach, but it is so relaxing, although a little too hot for an overweight Englishman in the height of summer, but if you remember to bring a good leather hat, and some very light and loose fitting clothing, you should enjoy the area. One of the best restaurants in the area is "Rei dos Pampas" it's tucked just off of the main motorway, and next door to the "Hotel Ventura", the service, food and wine are without doubt the best in Limeira, the staff are friendly and attentive, the high standard of hygene is at the same level as Germany.
